David R. DiGiacomo has been a practicing attorney since 1978.  Mr. DiGiacomo grew up in Arvada and did his undergraduate work at Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with distinction.  He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Law School in 1978.
 
Mr. DiGiacomo was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1978.  He has been admitted to the bars of the United States District Court for Colorado (1978); 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court, Arizona (1990); and the United States District Court, Alaska (1994).  Mr. DiGiacomo served as Law Clerk for Judge Howard J. Otis, Adams County, Colorado in 1974 and was a staff member for Congressman William D. Ford, House Agricultural Subcommittee and House Education and Labor Subcommittee in 1976.  He was a Metropolitan Legal Aid Society Intern in 1977-78.  After being a sole practitioner for 11 years, he and Mr. Jaggers formed their partnership in 1989.
 
Mr. DiGiacomo is a mediator trained by CDR Associates of Boulder, Colorado, which is world-renowned for its dispute resolution training.  Mr DiGiacomo was selected the Elected Official of the Year for 1999 by the largest Chamber of Commerce in Jefferson County.  In the Fall of 1998, Mr. DiGiacomo was recognized as one of the top 100 People of Jefferson County, Colorado.
 
Mr. DiGiacomo was an elected, non-paid member of the Jefferson County School District School Board, a position which he held for 8 years, two years as President.  The Jefferson County School District is the 26th largest in the nation.  In addition to the School Board, Mr. DiGiacomo has been a member of many professional organizations, including the 1st Judicial District Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the National and Colorado Plaintiff Employment Law Association, the National Association of Counsel for Children, the Colorado Interdisciplinary Committee on Child Custody, the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Legal Services to the Poor Bar Association Committee and the Workers Compensation Association.
 
Mr. DiGiacomo has also been extensively involved in academic and educational organizations, including the Jefferson County Vocational Technical Advisory Council, the Colorado State Vocational Business Education Committee, the Jefferson County Social Services Day Care Advisory Council, the Jefferson County Public Schools Educational Summit Task Force and various other business and office occupations advisory committees.  Mr. DiGiacomo has an outstanding record of service to his community, through his associations, memberships, speaking engagements and committee participation.  Mr. DiGiacomo currently serves as Chairman of the Jefferson Unitarian Church Endowment Trust in Golden, Colorado.  Mr. DiGiacomo is a past member of the Board of Directors of Jefferson Unitarian Church.
 
Mr. DiGiacomos major areas of practice include family law, personal injury, workers compensation, civil litigation and real estate.
 
Mr. DiGiacomo is married to Leeanne and has six children.
